Caring for Your Pool Perf® Fence

Powder-coated marine-grade aluminium needs no sealing, no polishing and no special products. To keep the finish at its best (and your 10-year powder coating warranty intact), simply wash your fence with a soft brush or cloth, warm water and a mild household detergent, then rinse with fresh water.

As a guide: wash every three months in most areas, and monthly if you're close to the coast, near a saltwater pool splash zone, or in an industrial area — salt deposits are the one thing you don't want sitting on any outdoor finish long-term. Avoid harsh solvents, abrasive pads and pressure washers at close range. Check your gate hinges and latch operation while you're there; a pool gate must always self-close and self-latch.

That's the whole program. No squeegees, no glass polish, no weekends lost — a quick wash a few times a year and your fence keeps its colour and its compliance.
